Braveheart Golf Tournament 2012

Held at Titirangi Golf Club, one of New Zealand's top-rated golf courses, the inaugural Braveheart Golf Tournament raised funds for The Right Track programme in central Auckland. The day included lunch, dinner, a generous prize table, raffles and auction. Many thanks to the generosity of our many sponsors for a fantastic day and wonderful result.

Braveheart Art Exhibition 2010

Held to raise funds for The Right Track, a driving offence-related programme with an 83% non-recidivism rate, the inaugural Braveheart Art Exhibition in 2010 was a resounding success! Curated by Liz Caughey, founder of Braveheart, it featured more than 600 artworks by 200+ New Zealand artists, both emerging and well-known.

Liz Caughey began collecting contemporary New Zealand art in 1988, and has worked as an art advisor since 2000. She has authored the five volumes in the ‘Contemporary New Zealand Art’ series (four with John Gow, Auckland gallerist) , contributed to The Encyclopaedia of New Zealand and edited ‘Virginia King: Sculptor’ (all David Bateman publications). She also maintains an independent website to promote New Zealand art www.nz-artists.co.nz and has curated four highly successful fundraising art exhibitions since 2003.
